Kindness

There are many forms of kindness. The kindness that God extends to his creations, the kindness enemies extend to each other in times of war and the kindness that humans extend to stray dogs.
This last form of kindness when extended by a human to fellow humans, speaks volumes about the apathy and the shallow level of values humanity has fallen to. Sadly this is the form of kindness most common amongst the wealthy and powerful of my homeland. And this hurts the soul and pinches the mind.
