Board Room Thoughts

The ability of the human spirit to persevere in the most adverse of circumstances is truly amazing. If nothing else it can find solace in a sense of humor, a hearty but hollow smile or immersing oneself in anything deemed to be important. The scars, the gaping wounds hidden behind this cloak. Few see the pain that is hidden underneath, fewer still understand the irreversible torment that pain causes.
Yet knowingly or unknowingly we push people towards that situation leaving them with only that indomitable spirit for sustenance and solace. Never for a moment thinking, what if we were put through the same ordeal how would we react?
People in positions of power and decision making need to be very careful, they are momentarily in charge of someones fate yet their own fate never in their control.
